What’s the DEAL with the new Alle Rewards Program?

Well first off, nothing changes if you are an A-lister. Same discounts on services and points towards treatments and products. More about how to become an A-lister later.

For those of you who don’t spend every month in our offices, which we would love it you did, the rewards program has changed. Some for the better and some just different. If you are not an A-lister you can collect points on all sorts of treatments and products, but you don’t get a direct monetary discount on your current services. You will collect points up to a certain level. You will then be able to purchase products and services with these points.

So why the change?

Well, no one knows for sure. But let’s assume it’s not just to help Allergan with their bottom line. It is probably more from the marketing team rather than the bean counters. Discounting current services doesn’t encourage clients to explore new helpful options that are in the Allergan portfolio. Certainly, we all should be using skin care products at home following our treatments. 80% of all the work/results to our skin is what we are using at home so why not protect your investment with the best products on the market. Keep in mind Skin Medica is one of the only companies owned and operated by a pharmaceutical company. They can’t throw something in a jar that works in the lab, slap on a label, and later find out that the ingredients aren’t bio-active on the shelf. Believe me many products do just that. It’s not enough to use the best ingredients you need to make sure that once it is combined with the cream or serum IT STILL HAS ACTIVE INGREDIENTS in the jar and lasts for days if not years. Skin Medica always does that! And always has! Having just spent time in their lab this weekend with Tiana our Director of Operations, I was so impressed with the science they pack into every one of their products.

But I digress, let’s see how this new point system plays out. Acquiring points for anything we love can be fun – frequent flier miles, Sephora gifts, Starbucks, Nordstrom, etc. I am a frequently flier junky always trying to get and keep my Premier status. You too will love the things that your med spa points will buy. Highly recommend the skin care lines we sell backed by the best science possible. If you choose fillers or relaxers, know that there will still be a product reward value. Which is essentially a discount on your services. This works out to a value three to four times more than the previously reward system.

In conclusion, keep an open mind about the new rewards program, certainly we are. We appreciate our partnership with Allergan / AbbVie / Skin Medica and want to grow their business by enhancing your services and outcomes. Our customer service representatives will help guide you through the process as this new program gets rolled out.
